The first edition of the Wikinovel is over
(July 25th, 2006)At 00:00 of July 25th, 2006, the first edition of the Wikinovel is officialy closed. From now on, it won't be possible to edit any of the pages in the Wikinovel, but they will all be, of course, accessible for reading. The Forum is also still open, so you can give your opinions or suggestions about the project.

The Wikinovel approaches its end
(July 21st, 2006)Next Monday, July 24th, exactly three months after its grand opening, the time for making contributions to the Wikinovel will come to an end. After Monday, the Wikinovel will remain accesible to be read in the same site, but no more changes will be accepted.
So, if you want to help us give a happy ending to any of the characters, or to the Project itself, make the most of this weekend, Wikinovelists!!!
New tools in the Wikinovel
(May 2nd, 2006)After its first week of existence, the Wikinovel is improved with new tools for the Wikinovelists:
- If you want Fate to guide your way, use Random Page in the left column menu. Now it works!
- If you want to discuss the evolution of the Wikinovel, you can use the Forum, or any other "discussion" page. (If you can't view or edit any discussion page in the Wikinovel, please contact the Administrators)
- To introduce yourself and allow others to send you private messages, edit your "user page" by clicking on your name on top of the page. Your "user page" is named [[User:Your name]].

Help us solve the greatest mysteries of the Wikinovel!
(April 27th, 2006)In its first four days of life, the Wikinovel has already created a web of stories and characters. However, there's still a lot of mysteries to solve! For example:
- What future awaits Anna's mother in Time runs away? Who are Tommy and Charles? What do they think about the situation? And what would Anna's mother tell us if she had the time?
- Who is Miguel in Vidas Prodigiosas? Which is his real relationship with Ricardo? And who is that so-called historian that claims to be writing Ricardo's story? What do Lupe and Dra. Alonso talk about on the internet?
- Whose is that body found dead at the beginning of Burdinbidez? Whose that voice trying to live the moment? And that other one that seems to accuse somebody in Ur gaineko arima? Who are both main characters and what will they do with the body?
The first stage of the wikinovel has already begun
(April 25th, 2006)Since yesterday, the first phase of the Wikinovel is open, and it will be open until July 24th. Yesterday, the first day in the Age of the Wikinovel, was quite successful: more than 50 registered users, over 15 contributions and more than 3000 visits to this page!
However, both English and Basque texts wait for their first continuations. Wouldn't you like to be the first to collaborate?

The wikinovel is open!
(April 24th, 2006)Two weeks after its scholarly presentation, the wikinovel is finally open to the public, and to their contributions, commemorating the International Day of the Book (April 23rd). To give the wikinovel its initial impulse, we present the generous contributions of three renowned writers: Juan José Millás, author of "Vidas Prodigiosas"; Jon Arretxe, with "Burdinbidez" and Espido Freire, with "Time runs away"
From this moment on, the wikinovel will be kept open until June 24th, when the first stage of this project ends.

Scholarly presentation of the wikinovel at the Universidad de Deusto
(April 7th, 2006)Patricia Fernandez was the person in charge of the academic presentation of the wikinovel held at the Universidad de Deusto (http://www.deusto.es). This presentation took place in the context of the "UD Science and Arts Week (http://semana.letras.deusto.es)", celebrated from March 26th to April 7th.
Leaving this presentation aside, the wikinovel will only be accessible and open to participation on April 23rd, International Day of the Book.
